Stop Cops from Providing Security for Coaches and TV Personalities
The Justice Department’s inspector general says a lawyer at the U.S. Marshals Service “arranged for transportation of Fox Sports personnel” in a government vehicle while he was working as a part-time statistician at sporting events.
It just hacks me off to see a coach escorted off the field surrounded by State Police, Sherrif’s deputies or local coppers. If the coach needs security, let his team provide it. Those 300 lb lineman can handle it.
As far as TV personalities: get the local Boy Scouts to hold their hands.
