Wow, surprise, surprise. Banks lined up to get free tax money and then decide they just can’t figure out where it went!
Citizen’s First Bank is on record saying:
“We don’t have every detail to the dollar in how we’re going to use this,” she said.The funds are lumped into the bank’s overall capital, which serves as the bank’s foundation and finances many operations, she said.
Then later, decided this wasn’t a smart thing to say in print and asked the newspaper to make a “correction” which basically drew the very fine distinction that most others wouldn’t.
